We are a group of lacemakers who work in North Wales. We make lace of various types but tend to work most on innovative modern forms of work, adapting to modern designs and uses the traditional techniques of lacemaking such as "Bedford", "Bucks" and "Honiton" .

We aim to keep alive the traditions of lacemaking by modernising the work to produce results satisfying to twenty-first century tastes. The illustration below shows a modern work in progress using coloured threads - not usual in traditional lacemaking. When completed it will become a decorative cone of lace.

There are about twelve of us in our group at present and we are happy to welcome new members.

Most of us make lace just for pleasure and do not sell our work.
